Marco Antonio Lozano, tenor, has performed extensively in both the United States and abroad. His numerous roles include ARTURO in I PURITANI, EDGARDO in LUCIA DI LAMMERMOOR, CONTE ALMAVIVA DON OTTAVIO in DON GIOVANNI, ERNESTO in DON PASQUALE, RODOLFO in LA BOHÈME, DUCA in RIGOLETTO , ALFREDO in LA TRAVIATA, TAMINO in DIE ZAUBERFLÖTE, ACHILL in IPHIGÈNIE IN AULIDE, GÜNTER in DIE FEEN, TITO in LA CLEMENZA DI TITO, MACDUFF in MACBETH, RUIZ ALONSO in AINADAMAR with companies such as THEATER ULM, THEATER FÜR NIEDERSACHSEN, OPER IM BERG FESTIVAL, OPERNFESTIVAL SCHLOSS AMERANG, OPERA ROYALE, LYRIC OPERA OF LOS ANGELES, KAMMEROPER FRANKFURT. He has also been seen onstage at the LOS ANGELES OPERA and in concert with OPERA EN CASTELLANO.
Mr. Lozano was a first place winner in the GRANDI VOCI INTERNATIONAL VOCAL COMPETITION and has been engaged for performances in Germany, the Czech Republic, Canada, Spain, Italy, and Austria, where he resided for four years. His extensive concert repertoire has allowed him to give recitals in the US and Mexico, including several in the home of the late, illustrious writer GORE VIDAL along side internationally renowned pianist ROBERT THIES. he has worked with conductors such as Maestro James Conlon, Maestro Placido Domingo, Maestro Edoardo Mueller, Maestro Grant Gershon, and Maestro Brent McMunn, among others.
Mr. Lozano obtained a Master of Music Degree in Voice Performance at the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Music degree in composition from California State University Northridge. He performs regularly on the operatic stage and in concert throughout Austria, Germany, and the United States.
Marco Antonio Lozano has shared the stage with the legendary opera Diva and Kammersaengerin Grace Bumbry.
Mr. Lozano is available for private engagements such as wedding, close events, funerals, etc.
